Choosing a laptop can be either quite difficult or easy. To some people it is the hardest most challenging task. To others it brings joy and fulfillment. Choosing a laptop is becoming easier and easier because they are getting cheaper. Choosing a laptop is simple. What do you expect to do on a daily basis? Graphic editing, video, photo work? If it comes down to that a Mac is better at graphical stuff then a windows pc. A windows pc is overall cheaper than a mac apple computer but comes bare without any components or video software. So if you are looking for video editing, photo shoots, or multimedia enhancements then I would choose a Mac.Now if your looking for basic emailing, typing, regular use then I would choose a basic laptop in the sub 600 dollar price range. Usually Intel processors are better at this stuff and live longer than AMD chips. Now you may ask how much hard drive space do I need? Memory? Graphics? And what size of a laptop is best? Speaking from experience a laptop with great keyboard layout tends to be the best in my book. Anything over 13 inches will do fine for basic necessities.
Hard drive? Anything over 120GB is good. Over 320GB is really good. The more hard drive space the more media you could fit into a laptop. Memory? Preferably over 2GB of ddr3. Graphics? Now here is where it gets interesting – in sub 600 dollar laptop range graphics usually are the same or integrated. Graphics are used to video gaming, video editing, and generally become very expensive add on to the laptop. Pick a laptop that could encompass all your necessary abilities on a practical day to day basis.
