Laptops and notebooks, synonymous with each over, are extremely useful tools. They have numerous uses, both recreational and profession.
One of the most common and widely used feature of a notebook is internet accessibility. With a wireless, dial-up, hard wire, or cellular connection a notebook can connect to the internet. This gives the user the ability to search the nearly endless world wide web, send emails, and download. The internet has revolutionized the way people live, work, and do business. Email alone has completely changed the way we communicate with each other.
Creating documents, such as memos, letters, and spreadsheets, on a notebook is very popular as well. Typing out things has replaced conventional writing and drafting techniques, as it provides better uniformity and speed. Documents that are especially complex, such as some Excel spreadsheets, would be nearly impossible without the computer.
Listening to music and watching movies have both shifted onto the computer. Not only CDs and DVDs, but live streaming of movies, videos, TV programs and radio stations. With the advances in screen and speaker technology, sound and video quality has increased greatly.
The arts have taken a huge turn with the computer. Photography has seen a shift from classical film to digital over the years. Digital cameras utilize photo editing programs, such as Photoshop, to work on photos. Graphic Design and Advertising has taken a big shift into computers as well. The computer game industry, which is huge, is centered around computers.
The notebook is an incredibly useful tool and fun item to own. They have become pretty affordable, and even the cheap ones are good quality now.
