Why is Windows 7 slow on my laptop? One of my friends asked this question after a few days of installing Windows 7 on his new laptop. It was beyond his understanding why a new operating system and a new laptop were experiencing slow speed.
It becomes a great nuisance when one is doing an important work on computer and the programs do not function properly. High speed computing is a need that we all share.
I am sharing here the trick that worked for my friend and helped him to make his laptop run faster.
What worked for my friend was that he was able to correctly identify the cause behind the slow speed of his system. As you know without proper identification of any problem, finding the right solution for it is not easy.
The simple reason Windows 7 was running slow was that he never performed any maintenance activity on his laptop. I suggested him to immediately clean computer up and repair all the registry errors through an effective PC optimizer and registry cleaner software.
When he downloaded the right program and ran the registry repairing scan, it caught hundreds of errors. Fixing these errors gave a boost to the laptop speed. Registry is the component of Windows where the information about all the programs is stored.
Upon running the registry cleaner and PC optimizer scan on his system my friend was able to increase his laptop speed. Also his Windows 7 programs were running faster than before.
