HP Pavilion dv6700t notebook can be called as the updated version of the HP DV6500t in terms of the display and the performance both. The design of this model of HP laptops can definitely be stated as best among the HP designed laptops.
It comes with a glossy finish on its lid and it has a very smart key design which makes it look elegant and different. Its imprint gives the combination of the mix of two colors which are copper and silver which is been given the term “clay”.
It has Intel Core 2 Duo processors having a light scribe optical drive. The screen size is 15.4 inches High-definition widescreen which is 1280*800 WXGA display. The screen has a sharp contrast with very excellent colors.
Talking about its configurations, the laptop comes with the Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit ) as the default. Along with this, it is equipped with the Intel Core 2 Duo processors and has a 1.66GHz, 2 MB L2 cache memory and a System Memory of 3GB DDR2 .
This notebook has very soft keys on the keypad which also contains keys for several purposes like the home key, end, page up key and page down key similar to other notebooks. The keys also support the adjustment of the brightness of the screen.
It also has a web camera and a microphone, the Altec Lansing stereo speakers, also supporting the Intel PRO/Wireless 4965AGN network connection.
Very well defined by its name the HP Pavilion dv6700t supports the complete range of the multimedia entertainment and that has become a great success due to the presence of Core 2 Duo processors. It has an nVidia 8400M GS dedicated graphics card with 256MB of RAM giving enough space to the users to play games and media on the notebook.
One more added feature available in this notebook is the launch of a wPrime program which makes it multi-threaded and so the user can simultaneously utilize both the processor cores making it more efficient.
The notebook also has a Media center remote which controls the movies, presentations, music and the photos. The presence of the media buttons also make accessing the DVD and CD player more of a fun as its quite easy to use.
Thus it would be accurate to state that this model of HP in all senses is of an excellent quality justifying its name to the extremes as it comes with a design which performs both the multimedia activities along with the normal stuff expected out of a notebook similar to its configuration.
